Gel-doc system
(Nucleic aicd Bioimaging Instrument)
EtBr and UV have been used in laboratories for techniques such as agarose gel electrophoresis. However, it has been shown that EtBr is toxic and potential mutagen. Also, UV can damage DNA sample and UV radiation is harmful.
NaBI is optimized for excitation of alternative reagent to EtBr with 470nm Blue LED replacing UV light.
Its compact size helps make better use of a space in the laboratory. Also, the program has been designed considerably simple for ease of use.
Instrument
- Compact Size - 260x260x400mm
- Simple
- Easy to use
- Set ROI, quantify data and export
Applications
You get the picture of DNA gel stained with DNA staining reagents of green fluorescence. Using the powerful blue LED can apply reagent of red fluorescence also. Due to the intense brightness, EtBr can also be observed.
With White light can leave your precious data such as PAGE gel or Petri dish with image data.
